Our Initiatives

Our Mission in Action

With state and federal agencies to deliver critical mental health support during California’s most urgent times of need. From natural disasters to public health crises, our initiatives bring comfort, stability, and healing to communities across the state.

FEMA Crisis Counseling Program (CCP)

Launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this program provided immediate mental health services to individuals impacted by the crisis. In collaboration with FEMA and the California Department of Health Care Services, our team supported thousands of Californians navigating fear, grief, and uncertainty during a global emergency.

CalHOPE Support Program

As a continuing partnership with the State of California, this initiative leverages digital tools—like a real-time chat platform—to provide emotional support for those affected by the ongoing effects of COVID-19. Services are accessible, stigma-free, and designed to meet people where they are.

CCP Flood Relief – Northern California

In the aftermath of widespread flooding, our team delivered compassionate, trauma-informed care to affected communities. By offering virtual and on-the-ground emotional support, we helped individuals regain a sense of stability and hope during a time of displacement and distress.

CCP Flood Relief – San Diego County

Currently underway, this initiative brings mental health support to San Diego County residents impacted by severe flooding. Our team continues to walk alongside individuals and families, helping them process loss and begin the path to recovery.

CCP LA Fires Recovery

Ongoing outreach efforts are bringing crucial emotional care to those affected by devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. In partnership with the California Department of Social Services, we are supporting survivors with empathy, presence, and personalized resources for healing.
